INFORMATION FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

Invitation Letter
Current IIT international students may need to submit an Invitation Letter in order for their family members to obtain a visa to enter the U.S. for Commencement. IIT can verify your enrollment status, which is a requirement of the visa.

The Invitation Letter is available online.

If you recently graduated from IIT and no longer enrolled at the university, but you plan to walk in Commencement (completed degree in fall 2007), IIT is not allowed to sponsor your family. You can sponsor your own family members. Contact the International Center for assistance with this process 312.567.3680.
